It's Great to be a Bumblebee!!!

I am Elena Queen and I have the privilege of working in the Technology Lab this year for 7th and 8th grade classes. I will be an extension of the teacher and classroom to enhance their mastery of their mathematic skills.

I am a 1996 graduate of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology.

I began teaching after having the opportunity to stay home with my children until they began their educational journey. I began teaching Fifth Grade at Central Texas Christian School in 2006 after receiving my Alternative Teacher's Certificate. I then moved on to teach Science related classes to Sixth and Seventh Graders. In 2009 I was fortunate to move to the high school level and began teaching Biblical studies to Freshman and Junior classes. I also added Public Speaking to my teaching resume by teaching Speech classes to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.

In 2008, I had the privilege in assisting the Volleyball Coach at CTCS for the 2008 season. Although this was not a field I had planned for my life, God had an incredible ministry in store for me. I was granted the opportunity to head up the Volleyball program in 2009. I served there until 2013 adding Track and Field to my resume as well for 2009-2013 track seasons.

In 2014, God led me and my family to this incredible school district! I began teaching Fifth Grade Science and heading up the Bee Nation Volleyball Program in the Fall and coaching the Girl's and Boy's Distance Track Team in the Spring. This season, my coaching assignment has changed, and I will be coaching High School Volleyball and Middle School Girl's Basketball.
